I. Installation Specifications
Preliminary Preparation
Equipment Inspection: Confirm that the specifications of the air supplement device (DN50 main diameter/DN175 bypass diameter) match the design pressure (1.0-2.5 MPa), and check for no external damage and good sealing.
Pipeline Cleaning: Remove impurities inside the pipeline before installation to avoid clogging the air supplement channel.

Bracket Setup: The DN50 end requires a fixed bracket, and the DN175 bypass end should have a guide bracket to limit lateral displacement and ensure free axial expansion and contraction.
Installation Steps
Positioning Alignment: The axis of the air supplement device must align with the pipeline axis. The DN50 end should be close to the fixed point, and the DN175 bypass end should avoid elbows or vibration sources.
Flange Connection: Use diagonal cross-tightening bolts. The sealing gasket must be pressure-resistant (metal spiral wound gaskets are recommended for high-temperature conditions).

Air Tightness Test: After installation, perform a pressure test to check for leaks at the air supplement interface.
II. Usage and Maintenance
Air Supplement Operation
Air Supplement Adjustment: Control the air supplement pressure through the bypass valve. The initial pressure is recommended to be 1.2 times the system working pressure.
Clogging Prevention: Regularly inspect the air supplement holes to prevent powder accumulation. For high-pressure conditions, it is recommended to install an automatic exhaust valve.
Maintenance Points
Regular Inspection: Check the elasticity of the bellows or expansion joints quarterly and replace aging seals.
Environmental Adaptability: In corrosive environments, enhance anti-corrosion treatment. In high humidity conditions, it is recommended to install a drying device.
III. Common Issue Handling
Insufficient Air Supplement: Check if the air supplement valve is clogged or if the pressure gauge is faulty. Refer to the air supplement adjustment guidelines.
Leakage: Re-tighten the flange or replace the sealing gasket. If necessary, perform welding repairs on the interface.
